It never needs to be sealed; it is super easy to care. Just wipe with soapy water for daily cleaning. Surface stains can be removed with a gentle cleansing scrub. Marble
Marble is being a popular trend in countertops for the past years. The reason why marble remains in massive demand for countertops is its elegance, and it provides a luxury look. It is easy to scratch marble than granite; however, marble is heat resistant. It holds up well to hot pans and pots in the kitchen. In the bathroom, a styling tool will not damage it unless left on it hot for some time. Marble has become popular for fireplaces because it will yellow due to the heat and can withstand the occasional spark on its surface. Marble is porous by its nature. It is way more porous than granite, so it absorbs liquids very easily. Despite some disadvantages, if you love the look of marble, consider investing in marble countertops. They offer beauty and good longevity when they are treated with the proper care.

Granite
Granite is one of the most popular-priced and generally used stones for countertops. It has proven its durability similar to quartz, although it is porous. Granite is a natural stone. It goes through the process of cutting, polishing, and then it is ready to be a countertop in your kitchen. It is stain resistant, heat, and scratch resistant as well. Granite countertops require low maintenance to keep the countertop surface look good.
Granite is more accessible to upkeep than marble or quartzite. It is harder to scratch and stain hence, less likely to have to repair. With that, you only need to seal it once a year.
